Stephanie Morgan
Community Advisory Board Member
Stephanie Morgan grew up in East St. Louis, Illinois and moved to San Francisco, CA in 1981. She has worked in nursing (CNA / SR LVN) and Social Work. Most of her years in nursing were spent at Seton Hospital in Telemetry / Med-Surg / Sub-Acute. She also worked as a temp at many Bay Area hospitals during the height of the AIDS epidemic. Stephanie worked many years in family preservation with Family Support Services of the Bay Area as Program Director. She has recently retired from Mercy Housing where she worked as Associate Director – Permanent Supportive Housing. Stephanie and her husband of forty-one years were therapeutic foster parents for 13 years. She is the mother of one awesome adult son.
Stephanie creates many arts & crafts and loves taking photos and making videos. She recently began a YouTube channel (SF Upload) where she hopes to upload positive uncut images of San Francisco to encourage others to venture out of their comfort zones / to decrease isolation for people who are unable to get out of the house for whatever reason. Stephanie is retired from her day job but keeping busy and continuing her mission of reaching out in service to others. She is working on a website for Seniors called SRBeing.com, which will launch soon. Stephanie Morgan is also a proud member of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) @ UCSF.
